Mobius Institute VCAT I gives you the practical foundation for vibration analysis and the knowledge you will build on as you progress toward Category II.

VCAT I covers the fundamentals of vibration, dependable data collection, basic spectra and waveform analysis, and recognition of common machinery faults.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The course is open regardless of experience. All attendees receive a certificate of completion. ISO Category I certification requires the exam and the required practical experience.

Six months of practical vibration analysis work experience is required and must be verified by a supervisor or manager.

Yes. Registered students receive Learning Zone access with digital course materials and course videos. For public instructor-led courses, access supports pre-study and review and continues for four months after course completion. For online distance learning, access is provided for four months from registration and payment.

Vibration analysis certification is valid for five years.
